Live in Michigan (LiM) is an official certified organization for the Corporation for National and Community Service to award it’s volunteers and general community one of the highest volunteer honors – presidential recognition. The President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) recognizes United States citizens and lawfully admitted permanent residents of the United States who have contributed or made a positive impact to local communities in State of Michigan.

Every year, the Office of Live in Michigan (LiM) will confirm the eligibility of the President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) for all volunteers which have served and reported hours through our Time Tracking System. Volunteer meeting this requirement will be contacted by our office via their liveinmichigan.org e-mail accounts to inform of award eligibility and details. The default 12-month period is from January 1 to December 31, in the same calendar year.
