Whitmore Lake occupies an area of 667 acres at the junction of Washtenaw and Livingston counties, about 20 minutes from Ann Arbor. Gull Lake was voted by readers of mlive.com as the best inland lake in southwestern Michigan. It is known for boating, sailing, water depth, and the beautiful houses on the lakeshore.
